Safeguarding

As a church we take safeguarding very seriously and believe it is our responsibility to create a safe environment for children, young people and vulnerable adults attending any activities we run.  We are committed to good practice as identified by our ‘Safeguarding Policy and Procedures’ document, which conforms to current government and Baptist Union of Great Britain recommendations and can be viewed or downloaded by clicking here.

Our SAFEGUARDING TEAM is responsible for all matters concerning safeguarding in the church, including training and DBS (police) checks for all volunteers and employees.
